Your king is stuck in the far corner, so the knight has to stop the h-pawn on its own. The rule: a knight alone holds a rook pawn if it always covers a square on the pawn's path other than the corner, or can cover one in time. Here that square is h2: the knight circles g4, e3, f1 and h2, and guarding h1 alone is not enough.
