The theory

Two knights struggle to force a win, but they excel at defense, weaving nets that stop pawns and confine kings.

Neutralize the runner. The most advanced enemy pawn is the real threat. Keep a knight positioned to capture or blockade it as it advances.

Keep the cage locked. Your own pawn can restrict the enemy king. Preserve that structure so the king cannot join the attack.

In this drill the attacker pushes for promotion and freedom for the king. Coordinate both knights, hold the net, and the game is drawn.
