The Infiltrated King Breaks the Wall

Win against perfect defense

Waking the engine…

The theory

The line between a fortress draw and a win in these endings is often a single square. Here your king starts already infiltrated, and that decides everything.

King power. A king inside the enemy camp attacks the shelter from within, robbing the fortress of the squares it relied on. The queen then finds her way in.

Convert with all three. Combine king, queen, and passed pawn to squeeze the defender. When the rook or pawn cracks, collect the point.

This drill shows why activity trumps material counting. Keep the pressure relentless and the win is there.
