Escorting the Knight Pawn
Win against perfect defense
Waking the engine…
The theory
Bishop and pawn versus bishop on the same color turns on control of the pawn's advance square.
The defense. A blockade on the bishop's color is the only way for the weaker side to survive.
The win. The attacker attacks the blockading square with both pieces, deflects the defending bishop, and pushes the pawn past its control.
In this drill you convert a knight pawn against a perfect blockade. Coordinate king and bishop to force the breakthrough.
