Platform

How it works

  1. 1

    Your public games

Your last 100 rated games are read from Lichess or Chess.com. Nothing is stored about you.

  2. 2

    The tablebase verdict

Each game that reaches 7 pieces or fewer is checked against the Syzygy tablebase: was the position a forced win when you got there?

  3. 3

    Won, then not won

A won position that ended in a draw or a loss is counted. With a free account, each one becomes a drill you replay against perfect defense.

Questions

Is the count exact?
The verdict is: the tablebase is an exact solution for every position with 7 pieces or fewer. Endgames with more pieces are not counted here; the full scan in your account looks at those too, with an engine.
Why only 100 games?
It keeps the preview fast and free. The full scan, with a free account, goes back up to 500 games and keeps your finds to replay.
Do you store my username or my games?
No. The preview reads your public games, shows the count and keeps nothing about you. The answer for a username is cached for a few hours, so asking twice costs nothing.
